Hello, I was able to remove the author and date count and date via the custom css in the dashboard with the following:
.home .entry-date{
display: none;
}
.home .td-post-author-name {
display: none;
}
But it still shows up for a second, then disappears. This doesn’t look good, so is there a way to just remove it without it displaying even for a little bit? (Also the comment bubble).

Hi,
Your custom css is loaded after the initial css of the theme is loaded so the date and author appear then are hidden causing this.
You can add this css directly in the style.css file, like this: http://screencast.com/t/wawafBlQd4k
You can also comment the dates and author from all modules files, like this: http://screencast.com/t/Vm23ez7Ih
