I have a post that is always reflected in the “news ticker” and a flex block I have set up for trending stories. This post doesn’t have the traffic necessary to show in these elements but is always there. If I go into the post and adjust the custom fields related to traffic to zero it will not show in the elements for a short amount of time.

Google Analytics provides actual and distinct value for your visitors, so please chck there the post view count. Our post-view counter counts every post-visualization, even if the same individual visits the post again, which is why there may be some differences.

Google Analytics shows it as the 111 story in the same time period. Jetpack has it in a similar position. It should not be constantly in the Trending module which only shows the top four. Very often it’s showing in the Trending module as the most viewed post. It’s an old news story, it’s not getting this kind of attention.
