Are you living in a cave? It’s nearly 2024 and you still don’t have dark mode and recommend a third party plugin. Are you for real?
So we really need that dark mode in 2024. We are getting a lot of feedback from visitors who don’t like to read our site in the evening, so we are losing readers. I think the sales of the template would also be positively affected by the introduction of this feature. I don’t really understand why it hasn’t been introduced yet. Can we know when it will arrive, if it arrives?
Thanks for your suggestion, I know that plugin. The appearance of the recommended third-party plugin is ugly, not user-friendly, downright visitor-deterrent. But most importantly, I don’t want to use another plugin. I hope this forum is also for suggestions on how to make it better.
I’ll chime in: a dark mode is very important and we constantly get emails from readers asking for a dark mode.
You can use an external plugin, but integrating it into the theme means fewer problems. WP Dark Mode, for example, didn’t work properly for us.
And @simchris, since when is Elementor or Woocommerce a theme? They are still plugins.
Dark mode is very important guys and we really want that feature to be implemented in the theme, i believe almost every theme out there is using the dark mode, i am telling you that because i love tagdiv theme and i do recommend your theme to all of my clients.
Hello!
Contact our custom work team here: https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/ and they can implement this feature on your end.
Thank you!
fully on board that dark mode is needed & each update I hope there is this one change. However — having seen a couple of other themes, it does not seem to be an uncomplicated add on for a theme like Newspaper which offers so much customisation. Dark mode requires colour customisation etc too — of course, cant be sure that this is the reason Newspaper is delaying it, but just here to say that between the customizations and endless features that Newspaper offers and Dark mode, I’d choose the former. People come to your site for content and yes, design plays a huge role, but it isn’t the only factor.
Of course, a DarkMode is not something that can be installed quickly, it takes a long time. But such a mode is now simply normal and the TagDiv team should really think about implementing it. It would be possible and perhaps an idea for version 13.
We should also not forget that a DarkMode helps people with visual problems.
