I created a CTP called ‘Places’ and added subcategories as shown in the ‘Tourism’ example (https://ibb.co/V9MbDV3). But when I add a new post to Places, I am not able to see any of the taxonomy/subcategories that I added (https://ibb.co/YhX6ksH). Why???
Hello @curistorian !
Please check the configuration of your custom taxonomy. Is it available for posts/cpt you want?
Thank you!
Hi – I don’t know what that means. What do I need to do/where do I need to go?
Hello @curistorian !
Go to CPT UI -> Add/Edit Taxonomies -> https://prnt.sc/szfOkm6SntRL
See if you have checked your posts/cpt you want.
Thank you!
This still doesn’t clarify it for me. I want my ‘Places’ CPT to show what I assume are subcategories that I have created as previously pictured. In addition to creating these in the left menu bar under the ‘Places’ post section, to I also have to create a new taxonomy for each one? There is no documentation explanining all of this and it is extremely confusing/unclear.
Hello @curistorian !
Please explain better what you need to achieve and what is the issue there?
Thank you!
I thought I had explained in my previous post. I want to know why I can’t see the filter/category options under Places that I have created (https://ibb.co/V9MbDV3) when I create a new ‘Places’ post (https://ibb.co/YhX6ksH). I have set it up identically to the already created ‘Tourism’ CPT which came with the template (by the way I have no idea where to edit/remove all of that since it doesn’t appear in the CPT UI or ACF plugin sections).
Hello @curistorian !
Ok. We would like to investigate this issue.
Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– admin url and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you

Hi – any update on this? I can’t really do anything until this is resolved.
Getting it sorted slowly. How do I remove the ‘My Tourism’ CPT and taxonomies that come with the Cali theme?
Hi,
You need to deactivate the plugin Cali Sign -> https://i.imgur.com/XHKZiCM.png Please note that Modules builders are made using taxonomies from this plugin, you need to replace/delete them
Thank you!
Thanks. My ‘Flex Loop Filter’ doesn’t appear to be working properly. I have for example a post which meets all of the taxonomy requirements (https://freeimage.host/i/screenshot-2023-05-26-091450.Hrqr2eI), but isn’t showing up in the filter results (https://freeimage.host/i/screenshot-2023-05-26-091613.Hrqrd5N). What could be the issue here??
I see what you mean, and yes I set the flex loop to Places. But there is still an issue. For example one of my posts remains visible when the ‘Open to the Public’ feature is filtered for, even though I haven’t selected that feature when I created the post and so it shouldn’t be showing up when that feature is selected.
I had thought that when selecting ‘multi’ for filters, a post would only show up if it meets the parameters of ALL the filters currently selected
Is there any way to create an ‘and’ function? For example on this page (https://journal.houselore.com/journal-places-2/) if someone chooses two different Property Features, then only posts which have been tagged with both appear?
Hi,
Yes, if someone chooses two different taxonomies, then will show only the cpt that has those taxonomies -> https://i.imgur.com/6siwIUJ.png
Thank you!
That doesn’t seem to be working. (https://journal.houselore.com/journal-places-2/?tdb_tax_places_location=england&tdb_tax_property_features=open-to-the-public,haunted). Here I am choosing 2 Property Features, and only Sample Post 2 matches both filters, but the results are showing Sample Post 1 as well.
Hi,
I tested again and for me works. I would like to take a look, can you please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the wp-admin access?
Thank you!
