Error when pre-viewing the theme before changing to the theme

Hi.

I am in the process of changing to Newspaper theme for my site matochresebloggen.se, but when I downloaded it and pre-viewed it, I get this error.

Can you please advice in how to best proceed so I can start using the newspaper theme?

I checked that I had the latest version 12.4, WP 6.2.2, and the PHP version 8.0, not 8.1 or 8.2. Then, I tried to change to the Newspaper theme. My site crashed and this is the only message now shown on the site:

Can you please check with some of your technical specialists in how I can solve this? I bought the extra support just for this reason.

Hi,

I did find an easy solution.

1) Changed to 20-23 theme
2) Removed all plugins from past theme
3) Updated all other plugins
4) Installed Newspaper with no issues!

I am getting kind of the same error as mentioned below which makes my site down again and again.Pleasae help.
