Hi,

How do I insert an image in the “homepage post” so i get the look of the “Newsmag Fashion” homepage?

Thank you for the answer

But my question wasn’t about the Post but rather – how to insert an image/a photo so it comes as background behind the posts in the homepage post template ?? I already saw how to insert a normal background, but it’s not working to insert the picture for this template.

Hi,

Unfortunately the background will not be displayed when Homepage Post block is used in a page like you can see on our demo the background image is not displayed there even it is added as site background – http://screencast.com/t/07iNarroTx – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag_fashion/

Thanks, But then how should I do to insert an image there? does that mean that the background will remain plain grey? No image can be inserted? Is that a mistake in the coding of newsmag then?

Hi,

It’s not a mistake. The post image effect was built using a background image there so settings another would break this feature, that’s why the background image isn’t setting there.
We’ll try to find another approach for this in the coming updates.
