Hello,
I have a question.
I have two search boxes in different headers, let’s call them Search Box 1 and Search Box 2. When I press enter in Search Box 1, I want the results to be shown with Template 1. And when I press enter in Search Box 2, I want the results to be shown with Template 2.
How do I go about it?
Thank you in advance!
Hello @Fryant !
In order to avoid misunderstandings, please provide more information(screenshots/video) about what exactly you need to achieve or what is the issue there and your website link.
A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, and send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link; paste it here.
Thank you!
Hello Bettina,
This is not implemented yet in my website, so I cannot show you. It’s something I would like to implement.
But this is what I have now (working as expected):
Search Box in Main Header – Press Enter – Show Search Results Page with Search Template (example)
What I want to do is to create a second header that will be used in another section on the website, in place of the main header. And, in that second header, there will be a different search box. And I would like for the results page from that second search box (not the live results, the actual page when you press enter or the “See all results” link) to have its own custom Search Template.
Would it be possible to have that custom Search Template?
Hope I made it a bit clearer. Thank you!

Hello @fryant !
You can create and customize multiple header templates. One could be global, and one could be manually assigned to the page you need. You can change every setting in the elements we have already in the tagdiv Composer. Also, you can duplicate a template to have the same style but different settings for the elements in that template. See https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/different-logo-in-categorypage/ for more information.
Unfortunately, you cannot have two search templates and put them into some links. It won’t work.
I’m not sure why you need this, but we have an exception for the CPTs. A CPT can have its own search template, which will show the results only from that CPT’s information.
Thank you!
