We have been using this theme for a while and we’re happy with it.
We are now facing an issue. We are currently integrating our WordPress with AppMySite in order to have an app using this platform. Basically this app syncs content from the site to the app, showing the news articles, etc.
The problem we are seeing is that the news stories (most of them in our case) that have YouTube video as featured image, when synced to the app builder, it won’t show the playable video player. However, if we add an iframe or video embed inside the post content, it does show it on the app when synced.
Is there a way you guys could help us to achieve this for all the posts? We have over 4000 posts on the site and we definitely cannot go manually and add these iframes.
Is there something you guys can do to add to functions so if the page has a video, it includes it in the post content? We would be willing to pay for this if necessary.
I’ve tried writing different custom functions but can’t get it to work.
