Hi,
I enabled the settings in the theme panel and selected Popular Posts Last 7 Days. No content shows with that setting. I experimented. Popular Posts All Time Shows Content and Also Random Posts Last 7 Days.
How do I get Popular Posts Last 7 Days to show content?

I am experiencing the same issue. Am not sure when the next Theme update will be, but have is there any resolution for now? Or should we just not use it?

The task is assigned to a developer, but I don’t know when it will be fixed. You can try not to use it until it is resolved.
