Mobile Page – Title over Text – Formatting Left Justified

Hello,

Looking at this page:
https://rareparenting.com/get-featured/
For some reason the mobile version is formatting the title over text as left-justified, instead of centered. As a result it’s cutting off text. Any ideas?

Thank you!

Best,

Megan

Hello Megan!

It seems to be alright, or? https://prnt.sc/stCnt_wYW8qO
Edit the page with the TagDiv Composer and use some padding or margins for that element; you can also center it.

Thank you!

Hi Bettina!

No, it’s not alright. I increased the photo size so that all the text would fit, as a temporary fix. I have used TagDiv composer, I have tried centering and I have tried adjusting every single padding and margin option available. As you can see in the image you sent, the text lines are left aligned, not centered. For example, the “B” in “business” aligns directly under the “Y” in “your.” As a result, the end of “business” is very close to the edge, and not centered. Of course, I have also set the text to be centered. If you look on the desktop version, you can see the text is centered. But for some reason on the mobile version, it’s left-aligned.

Thanks!!

Best,

Megan

Hello Megan!

It is the same in the editor? Please fix the alignment.
If not, then please make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.

Let me know the results!

Thank you!

It’s not a block within editor. It’s an element in Tagdiv, so there’s no available formatting options in editor. I deactivated all the plug-ins and nothing changed. It’s still left-justified on mobile only.

Hello Megan!

Did you try to align that element from the CSS tab of those settings?
Or try to add some CSS code: https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/

Thank you!

Yes I have tried the CSS mobile tab in TagDiv. The H align says center, even though the text is left justified. Within the desktop tab, if I change the same H align, the text will change based on what’s chosen. However, in the mobile tab, it doesn’t matter what I change it to, it stays as left justified.

Why do I have to create custom code for a problem with the program? I do not know how to create custom code, and it’s not right to ask me to learn to code because the TagDiv program has a glitch. Please let me know what code to input to override the glitch, or please update TagDiv to fix this problem with h align not working on mobile. 🙂 Please let me know?

Thanks Bettina!

Hello Megan!

Please provide a screenshot/video about that issue, which element is and how you tried to align it.

A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, and send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link; paste it here.

Thank you!

Hello Megan!

I can see that you align the title over image, instead the image.
When I add a new full HD image there, it will begin from here: https://prnt.sc/c49AsGPqWZOY
You can try to add a margin like this: https://prnt.sc/EewWZYprx1Hg

Thank you!

Hi Bettina,

That doesn’t work. Adding a negative margin to the left side of the image only moves the image. It does not change the alignment of the text. See here for reference: https://www.loom.com/share/a41cf5c45fe44b2382c6f98be7f34540?sid=c69c4288-a183-4d03-b45b-e18008862836

As shown in the previous video, the theme has a problem. The alignment of the text within the text over image doesn’t work for mobile. Please let me know a solution?

Thanks!!
