I am developing a site by augmenting the included prebuilt Law Firm site. After changing the logo, the background and the initial text on the splash section of the home page, it looks fine when viewing it on a desktop. It also looking fine on a cell phone but only in portrait mode. Once the cellphone is turned to landscape mode, all hell breaks lose. The navigation breaks and the splash text covers the navigation. The cell phone I used is a Samsung A53, Android 13, Chrome browser (same issue occurs with other browsers). If need be, I can create a tech support login for you.

Thank you.

Hello!

If you click here: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB , you can verify also the mobile viewport, and tablet viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/YUVUcyrgh
Check in the tagdiv Composer and change the elements in order to look better.

Thank you!

Yikes! I left one bit of data out: everything looks fine in viewport modes/views, BUT when loaded in the real world on a real cellphone (Samsung A53, Android 13, Chrome browser (same issue occurs with other browsers), all hell breaks lose. How can I send you a screenshot?

Hello!

Then this issue is caused by the cache. Uninstall all the cache plugins, clear all your cache from your browser, and try again.

A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, and send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link; paste it here.

Thank you!

Okay, the site does not use a cache. The below link will get you to screenshots.

Screenshot “1” shows that the browser is empty = nothing stored, cache empty and everything. else.

Screenshot “2” shows everything fine in portrait mode.

Screenshot 3 shows the mess in landscape: navigation issue and splash text messed up.

The issue is on every cell phone browser: Opera, Firefox, Chrome, Edge and Samsung’s “Internet” browser.

See previous post: basically, what’s going on is that in landscape mobile mode, the menu does not stay in mobile menu display mode, it reverts to desktop menu view.

SOLVED! Since I am using the prebuilt Law Firm site, the non-editable header only allows a set number of menu items before breaking as reflected in the linked-to images above. It’s mindboggling that Tagdiv provides prebuilt sites that are not fully editable, i.e., cannot edit headers and footers–only replace with cloud templates that then do not match the prebuilt layout (theme and colors). Other than that, Newspaper theme rocks.
