Hello,
I recently installed the new 12.6 update for Newspaper and the design of all our pages and content is out of place. When I open the pages in the TagDiv Composer, they look exactly as they are supposed too, but when I go to the live website, the design is out of place, and on some pages the featured images are not displaying.
The site is https://commandeleven.com
Please help.
Thank you in advance.
Hello @commandeleven !
Your pages should look like in the tagdiv Composer. The issue can be from a plugin conflict or a cache issue. Thatâs why we recommend first deactivating ALL plugins except tagDiv ones; if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache (also from your browser), and see the results.
Thank you!
I:
– deactivated all plugins except the TagDiv ones.
– turned off my cache plugin and cleared cache
– cleared cache on my browser
Problem still exists.
I am particularly amazed that all the content pages are in capital letters (uppercase) now, when they weren’t like this before.
Hello @commandeleven !
I can’t see anything like that in your website. Did you solve the issue?
Thank you!
Hi, same problem, update to 13.1 WordPress and 12.6 Newspaper and all the attemtps warns TagDiv Version 4.3 | built on 15.09.2023, On row no. 8 in file /data/web/virtuals/83305/virtual/www/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_resources_optimize.php error E_PARSE. ???
Possibly, how to downgrade TagDiv to 12.5 etc?
Thzank you
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘string’ (T_STRING), expecting function (T_FUNCTION) or const (T_CONST) in /data/web/virtuals/83305/virtual/www/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_resources_optimize.php on line 8

The problem is (troubles made) TagDiv Composer, does not help push button “renew”.
The only way to have website running (even broken) is swich off al TagDiv plugins, mainly TagDiv Composer if version 12.6 installed. đ
For me no information how to have step back (version 12.5).
Hello Eduard!
This issue has been discussed already here, please check:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/critical-error-tagdiv-composer/
Thank you!
Okay, I will check that.
If the result is “update php from 7.3 to 7.4 or 8 or higher), I must say, that I faced big troubles with NEWSPAPER if i did update above 7.3 version )couple of weeks ago). Many pages (maybe 5-10% of all) worked/displayed wrong, so I must go back to php 7.3.
Now the old problem (php 7 vs 8) solved too?
No, the issue is still not resolved.
This is what I am seeing – Site Problems
In TagDiv Composer, the pages are exactly as we designed them, which is why I am surprised. It’s when the pages are displayed on the live website that there is a problem with the design and content.
Yesterday, we downgraded to 12.5.1 and the live site design returned to normal. All the problems that we were seeing in 12.6 disappeared with the downgrade.
We will stay with the downgraded version until the problem with 12.6 is solved, because this is a live site that we are continually working on to load faster.
Hi commandeleven, if the problem was only about the layout and you also have extra cache or optimize plugins then it is possible to be a conflict between the theme option for inline css and those plugins – https://i.imgur.com/hz9fc5Y.png
Thank you!
Hello Calin,
In terms of plugins, we have the following running:
Cloudflare
WP Super Cache
EWWW Image Optimizer
SWIS Performance
Auto Optimize
Interestingly, I don’t have the Inline CSS option in my theme panel. Again, we downgraded to 12.5.1 from 12.6 because of the layout and design issue that happened after the upgrade.
