Hello,
I have just updated my Newspaper from a very old version to the latest version few days ago.
But after a few days, I found that the date of my post is not shown in the Google search result, but before the update, the date is shown normally, may i know how to fix it?
I’m using Yoast SEO, and I’ve turned off ENABLE ARTICLE SCHEMA in Newspaper Post setting.
Hi,
There is usually a 30-day delay for Google before they show the post date in the Google SERP.
Please check those guides

May i how to fix it?
Thanks.
Hi,
The display of the date in SERPs is determined by the Google algorithm, not within our control.
There are general practices that can influence whether and how dates are shown:
Structured Data Markup:
Use structured data markup such as Schema.org to provide clear information about the publication date of your content.
XML Sitemaps:
Ensure that your XML sitemap is up-to-date and includes the last modification date of your pages. This can help search engines understand when your content was last updated.
Fresh Content:
Regularly update your content to show that it is current and relevant. Google tends to display dates for content that is recent or regularly updated.
Metadata:
Include a publication date in the metadata of your web pages. This is another signal that search engines can use to understand the freshness of your content.
Thank you!
