Instagram oembed not working

Hi, with Newspaper theme, the instagram oembed doesn’t work and I don’t know how to activate it.

For example…

– I change the theme to the wordpress default
– I am writing a post, and I write one IG url, like this, “https://www.instagram.com/p/CyQWbjtIed8/” .
– when I go to the post, I see in there the instagram post embeded.

– then I change the theme to Newsletter
– I return to the post, and I only see the url text of the instagram post, it is not embeded anymore.

I have setup into Newspaper social settings my IG account, the personal and the pro ones, but it doesn’t help.
I can’t find the field which is removing the IG oembeds.

Hi! Thank you very much for your answer.
They are displayed with theme “Twenty Twenty-Three”, but if you change again to “Newspaper” they are blocked again. So that seems that it is the theme who is blocking them.
Even, if I use one plugin like Smash ballon which seems to fix these problems, when the problems are related to wordpress, they are not displayed with Newspaper theme.

I am using the simple editor for creating posts, not the wordpress blocks.

The embed code works for me.

I’d like to go with oEmbed. I mean, writing only the url of the post. For example, “https://www.instagram.com/p/CyQWbjtIed8/”, only this code.

– With another theme it works, with and without cache
– with a helper code like Smash balloons + Newspaper it doesn’t work, and it should

Something into the theme is avoiding the oembed features, is it possible?
