Problems with the WordPress visit counter with the new versions of Newspaper.

Friends, good afternoon. I’m having an issue with Newspaper. Since version 12.5, when I update, WordPress stops counting the visits on each article. The new articles have zero visits. I then reverted to version 12.4 and can’t update to the new ones because of this problem.

Hi,

You can enable the post views from Theme Panel -> Post Settings -> Post and Custom Post Types => https://www.screencast.com/t/LAv90B5eZ (please make sure you have tagDiv Standard Pack activated for standard template)

Hi Anamaria,

I’m talking about the “posts” tab in wordpress. As soon as I install the Newspaper update, wordpress stops counting my visits.

Yes. And now counts two visits at a time. Have you ever seen anyone go through this?
