Custom HTML Not Saving in Posts

Whenever I try to insert a custom html block in my post it won’t save. I’ve tried on multiple posts and different codes and it won’t save. It will show a preview in editor, but when I try to save or update it says “The response is not a valid JSON response.” It’s crucial that I be able to use HTML as I need to display Google adsense ads and affiliate ads. Please help!

Hello,

I saw that you requested a refund -> https://prnt.sc/W_xxDLr1hpq7. Please let us know if still want to get the refund.

It is not recommended to add the code for ads in the post editor. You can set the ads in Single Post Template from tagDiv Cloud Library and you can set top ad, 3 inline ads set after x paragraphs, and bottom ad; please check this article -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/ and video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=biTpVVlr8j8
If the code is for auto ads, then please delete it from where you added it, and set it in Theme Panel -> Analytics/Js Codes in the head tags -> https://i.imgur.com/IXgNkon.png

Thank you!

Thank you for the info! I’m giving it a second go to see if I can handle this theme, so I don’t need a refund now. It is way more frustrating and difficult than expected though.

I just noticed that when I put the html in the ads in single post like you instructed, they show up in all my posts. I have certain ads from affiliates that are only applicable to certain posts. How do I make sure the code does not go in all the posts and only the one I want it to be placed in?

You can have different ads in every post/article if you use a different template for each post/article. If you want the same design, you can duplicate the templates.
Check this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/different-logo-in-categorypage/; The same steps are to duplicate any template.

Thank you!
