Want a navbar that expands the whole width of the page

Is there a way to have a navbar that would go across the entire page similar to this http://i.imgur.com/bXnKkoG.jpg?

I couldn’t find any options to do so.

Hi,

If you want the main menu at full width you have to not use site background(color or image). When you use background it will become boxed – http://screencast.com/t/aYkaC9tQ
