Ht, I have the issue that my mobile menu and my search icon are not clickable.
What I did so far:
1. I disabled all plugins (except tagdiv), same issue
2. I confirmed that the cloud template is set in theme panel header settings
3. I loaded a default header via Cloud Libary, same issue there.
Any idea what else I could check? This is the link to my site: Link
I used an old site to create this new one and there the header was originally set via the seperate mobile plugin (and classic plugin / old theme before cloud templates were released). Could this be the reason?
Thanks in Advance!
Hello David!
Did you use the feature “Remove unused CSS” of a cache plugin?
Click on that hamburger menu and choose a menu in the mobile viewport: https://prnt.sc/KM1WiaiJlPSD
Thank you!
Hi
I have the exact same issue. It only started happening a recently. Website is thecitylane.com.
Thanks,
Paul
Hi Bettina,
Indeed, I did remove unused CSS a couple of years ago. Not with a cache plugin but with your inbuilt theme functionallity. However, this functionallity seems not actively used anymore. But to be sure I just run the “Critical CSS Analyser” and then clicked “Remove Generated CSS”. But it did not change anything, the menu and the search icon are both still not clickable. Also the hamburger menu has a menu selected like in your screenshot. Any other idea what could cause this issue?
Thanks!
Hello,
We had a few similar cases and the problem was happening only when the user was not logged in, so the users checked the optimize can cache settings and the problem were resolved.
Do you have this problem when you are logged in? If the problem persist when you are logged in and you agree we can take a closer look, for this will need a temporary wp-admin access that can be provided via email at contact@tagdiv.com
Thank you!
Hi,
For this problem please check also to have in the theme panel those options enabled – https://i.imgur.com/LWDeClm.png
Thank you!
Hi I will send an e-mail with details. Have those settings selected and I get the error, logged in or not (it was someone trying to search using the function on my mobile website who notified me of the issue).
Hello!
@David Those settings are for the standard headers. The WP Rocket “remove unused CSS” feature creates this kind of problem; that’s why I’ve asked you above.
@thecitylane If you sent an email, then we will take a look and try to help you as soon as possible.
Please be patient!
