Larger main site logo and smaller ad banner

I would to make the space for the main site logo LARGER and make the ad banner size smaller to 468 x 60 ad size

Please advise how this can be done. Thank you.

Basically I would like the logo to be 500px x 150px to the left with a 468 by 60 Google ad banner to the right

Here is a mock up of how it would look exactly on my site.

500 x 150 logo spot to the left
468 x 60 banner spot to the right

OK I have been able to resize the logo in the Style sheet file but can not find which media number to edit down to 468 width.

I have enterred the google adsense code for a 468 pixel wide ad but site automatically resizing to the larger 768.

Can you please advise exactly where to edit the style sheet so ad sizes down to the desired 468.

ok i am an idiot and need help. I had my logo showing perfectly at the 500 x 150 I wanted it.

Then out of the blue over the past few days it changed.

my main logo has somehow gone back to being smaller and is now showing up resized (500px × 150px (scaled to 272px × 82px))

I did not make ANY changes to the stylesheet coding.

Can someone please remind me where I can STOP this auto resizing from happening and the code to stop this.
