Hello,
I just want to establish Forum under newspaper theme, where the topics are organized in threads and other members can contribute to the topic. Is this possible under newspaper theme? if possible, how to implement this?

Yes, you can use bbpress forum plugin. Newspaper theme is compatible to use with this forum.
