Issue regarding permalinks and alternate page section

I’m reaching out to seek clarification regarding an issue observed in the Google Search Console for my website, which is based on your WordPress theme. Despite not appearing on the frontend, I’ve noticed URLs ending with ‘?’ characters in the Google Search Console under the alternate page section, alongside proper canonical tags.
Could you kindly assist in understanding where these URLs are crawled in the Search Console.

For your reference, this is one of the URLs
https://www.electronicsforu.com/electronics-projects/eee-projects-ideas

URL with Issue: https://www.electronicsforu.com/electronics-projects/eee-projects-ideas?

Hi,

Not sure from where Google is picking that URL, its nowhere in the page source. Normally the “?” is usually used in parameters, like tracking. But having it non its own like that is pretty unusual. Is there more information about it in the search console perhaps? Is it just for posts?

Thank you!

Hi Atithya, I made some tests using the rich results platform and from what I can see everything seems to be correct – https://i.imgur.com/6x8mi0a.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/xM2KFja.png also the canonical link is present – https://i.imgur.com/OmDtoKD.png also the results on google seems to be working for those – https://i.imgur.com/T7i7NEl.png what I can suggest is to open the report and check the inspect section – https://i.imgur.com/ljIseoy.png to get some more details about this situation.
Thank you!
