I want to display featured images of pages in the same way like in the posts. But for some reasons I can not see featured images on the pages at all. I use template Tech news
i think with most thems you specify a featured image, but then you can simply insert an image however you want

You can add the featured image here: https://i.imgur.com/qoBdDus.png, but this will not be displayed on the page; if you want to have this image on the page, you can use a single background image and insert it there.

It’s absurd to have an option to insert an image that can’t be used because of the theme. We have 3,000 pages and already have images in those posts, but we can’t display them. We are not going to insert the block one by one.

So if the posts don’t have the featured image, then they will display a blank thumb; you can set a placeholder.
You can set a Placeholder in Theme Panel -> Blocks Settings -> https://i.imgur.com/mo0Cbu2.png.
