We have a lot of news sites running under a multisite enviroment, what happens is that the Theme settings from Site A will sometimes randomly be imported and saved under Site B Without human interference, is has become rather annoying to see another brands logo on a different site and all the other settings you set under Theme settings.
The first fix we tried to do is disable all the import/export backup settings to OFF on all our news sites using the theme, this helpes for the majority of the sites we have (currently 13 sites), yet this issue is still randomly doing it once per week or twice per week. i’ve made custom backups of the theme settings code but this is not the way it should be right?
Version: 12.6.1 (Yes we are a bit behind but this issue persisted even before this version and nothing in the Changelogs/Release notes indicated this being fixed.)

Please increase the memory limit because maybe sometimes there can appear a fatal error related to the memory. PLease check the error log when this happens.

This is still happening, it appears more during the weekend than during the week itself, now it was Site D copying its theme settings to Site C.
As for Memory, every site has 768M memory allocated to it. Does Newspaper require more?
We would like to have this fixed since we get a lot of visitors and this looks really sloppy / unprofessional.

– cPanel URL and credentials

Also, during the investigation know that we will disable the other non tagDiv plugins.

We’ve been experiencing it for years, and it has recently started happening much more often (multiple times per day) on some of the sites in our multisite network (most often one of them but others at times as well).

The theme is activated per site in the network and not network activated.
Anamaria & SMG, did you found out what is causing this? it didn’t happen for a while but now its doing it again on some of our sites.
No resolution as of yet, we have one and sometimes multiple sites’ theme options resetting multiple times per day becoming a serious problem.

Unfortunately, I investigated, and we, the support team, did not find an optimal solution for this. What I can say is that the theme no longer works with multiple sites. Eventually, a solution could be made, but it would be custom, and I’m not sure how reliable that solution will be.

let me get this right. Do you mean Newspaper is not usable in a WordPress multi site environment any more? This would mean we have to move away from Newspaper. Let me know.
