Cannot use PHP 8.X with Newsmag

Website, theme, plugins, WP version, etc. are all up-to-date; however, I am unable to use any version of PHP other than 7.4. Anytime I update to PHP 8.X, the website will not display.

When I use another theme, it works fine, but when I switch back to Newsmag, it does not work. Please advise.

I am running Newsmag on PHP 8.2x with zero issues. Try disabling plugins other than the tagdiv composer plugin. Not all third party plugins work with PHP8. Theme *does*.

Also note you must disable all caching plugins, clear caching, and after changing PHP versions if you see gateway error refresh browser, as that is also cached.

Try enabling debug mode in your wp-config file then look at the generated errors when switching to PHP 8.2x (don’t go to 8.3 yet!).

(I don’t work here.)

Hi socalemc, as simchris mentioned, the theme should work with no problems with all php under 8.3, so all php version from 8, 8,1 and 8,2 should be working with Newsmag.
What I can suggest is to make a test install were to have only the fresh theme from the themeforest and see if the problem persist.
Thank you!

Figured it out. It was a conflict with a ReCAPTCHA plugin.
