Sometimes, in the theme editor, elements can become inaccessible. For example if I add a shortcode in a Text with title, but for some reason the shortcode doesn’t show up, then that Text with Title element is no longer clickable because it is 0 width in the editor.
I would like to request that all different elements can be visible in some kind of tree view. Also hidden elements. How else can I again find an hidden element once set to hidden?

It depends on the shortcodes, but normally, it should also be displayed in the editor. You should also be able to select the element in the Composer.
To see the hidden elements in Composer, you can enable this option from Manager -> Settings -> https://i.imgur.com/OkfpxSL.png
