Unfortunately, we have no tested plugin for that. A workaround there could be to edit an article with Gutenberg, add new block -> search “table of contents” -> install and place it where you need into your text: https://app.screencast.com/2AhtcOPw39Sl2

Hello, thankls for quick answer. Your workaround is the perfect solution, cause i see, if i put in the table of content with the composer, all single post sides with “H’s” use it. So it sounds fine, if i could put a table of content block in only some special single posts.
But … your solution include that i install a new “table of content” plugin? Cause i can’t find the table of content block in my gutenberg blocks … have i do something special in the preferences that i can use it there from the newspaper theme, without installing a new plugin?

Yes, you should install the block from Gutenberg, and then you can find it in the list of blocks. We can’t add in our theme an element into another element.

Since you already have this feature in your theme, why don’t you give us the freedom to decide whether we can use TOC in content in the first, second, 3rd…..paragraphs?
