i invested now a lot of time to look in the preferences of tagdiv composer (megamenu), read in the documentation and also in forum threads. But i am not able to find a solution.
How can i change the (sub)categories in the megamenu from below centered, to left (like in the newspaper default theme).
I work with the newspaper, “magazine pro” theme.
Maybe anyone can help me?

If you have a parent category with subcategories https://i.imgur.com/ScOzLD5.png -> https://i.imgur.com/9F8KosV.png, please ensure that you only select the parent category for the mega menu.

Yes, i want the mega menu like the picture you postet.
And also yes, i have a parent category with subcategories.
And i do this … i only select the parent category for the mega menu
but i find no option to change the subcategories to the left side …

So … yes, i think this was the problem.
The list is now on the left side, but i have to change something in the “list” design … change the width from 100% to 10% and the padding also, but now i looks like the default theme. It runs and i hope i do everything right with changing the design.
