Image Ad Links

Good morning. I’ve placed an image ad on my home page but the URL is not saving (I have tried literally dozens of times). I’ve seen others post the same but the recommended fix (adding https://www.) is not working for me. I hit save and the URL vanishes, redirecting once more to the home page. I’m experiencing the same issue when trying to link to other external links on the site. Please help.

Unfortunately, the linked post does not seem to be entirely applicable to this problem. An observation of outgoing requests as well as the console indicates that no requests are being blocked, and no errors are being thrown. With this in mind, as well as noting that other settings do not have the same issue (e.g., the image, and ‘open an external window’ checkbox), I would think that this is not due to a firewall or security module, but instead due to the content of the outgoing requests. Perhaps there is some issue with updating the hyperlink specifically. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t – and there’s no obvious factor as to why it works when it does. Clicking on the ‘save all’ versus clicking ‘save content’ separately doesn’t seem to influence the result.

I’ve spent quite a bit of time troubleshooting this issue and sadly I’m no closer to a resolution. Do you have any insight on this issue? Thanks and regards.
