Big slide settings on the top of homepage

Hello!

I want to change the setting of the big slider on the homepage: show only the main news in the slider. But I can’t find the change settings of the big slider in the template “Homepage + bg – article list”. I see only block without big slide setting. Please, help me.

Hi,

If you use a template with bg the Big Slider is added automatically on the page and these are options from the backend – http://screencast.com/t/BVzwyKy8wV so it shows the featured articles. If you want to modify this you need to edit page-homepage-slider.php and change the sort order and specify a category(if you want to show articles from a specific category) please check this topic as reference – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/exclude-posts-from-big-slide-homepage-bg-no-article/
Or you can change the page template and add Big Slider from Visual Composer elements, so you will be able to change setting for Big Slider from backend – http://screencast.com/t/Kjb5Z6sshJ
