When someone posts a comment on my site, I do receive an email to inform me about this. However, when I reply to them (via wordpress), they don’t get informed about my reply unless they go back to the site. Is there a way to activate this? Now, I just send them the answer also by mail but then the discussion continues via mail and not on the site.
Examples are here: https://www.theveniceinsider.com/explore-venice-through-these-10-captivating-books/

Hi,
Do other emails work fine? Easiest way to test it would be to make a password reset request for your account and see if you get the email.
If those work, then set up https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-logging/ which will log all email sending requests.
Then reply on some comment (which is made by someone who is subscribed) and see if the notification for that shows up in the WP Mail Logging plugin.
Also, please check this guide https://wordpress.com/support/comments/comment-notification-email/#:~:text=any%20comment%20notifications.-,Not%20Receiving%20Comment%20Notification%20Emails,your%20spam%20or%20junk%20folder
Thank you!
Hi Anamaria,
The problem is not that I do not receive the comments (I do), but that my followers don’t receive my answer to their comment. Is there a way to push these replies to them?
Thanks
Katia
Hi Anamaria,
I don’t use a plugin for comments. Should I to be able to do this?
I can send mails but haven’t done it via the site, but through the mail browser.
Any tips on how to do this?
thanks
Katia
Hi Anamaria,
The server is indeed configured. I have now installed a plugin to ensure that people rececive my answers in their inbox.
Thanks
Katia
