Mega menu question

Hello,

Is it possible to create a mega menu where I can show all my main categories as submenus?

My structure is as follows:

Main Category 1
-Main Category 1 > Subcategory 1
-Main Category 1 > Subcategory 2
-Main Category 1 > Subcategory 3
Main Category 2
-Main Category 2 > Subcategory 1
-Main Category 2 > Subcategory 2
-Main Category 2 > Subcategory 3
Main Category 3
-Main Category 3 > Subcategory 1
-Main Category 3 > Subcategory 2
-Main Category 3 > Subcategory 3

Can I create such a menu where I would be able to see Main Category 1, 2 and 3 in the mega menu?

If not, should I add a parent category to the main category like News > Main Category and set the mega menu to load News as a mega menu. Will that result in showing only the Main Categories or it will show their subcategories too?

A mega menu it will load the subcategories of the main category: https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/ –> if we have a parent category X with subcategory Y and this subcategory Y has another subcategory Z, when I load the menu will I see only Y or I will see Z and Y?

You can add a page mega menu there: https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-menu/ –> I tried doing it this way. Is there a way to mimic the design of the mega menu items in a page? Categories on the left and hovering to change between them.

Or create a simple menu with the subitems you want. –> Obviously won’t solve my problem.

You can also create a custom link category 1 and add the subitems you want (they can be the categories). –> I tried that too but the design is bad. I want to be able to see them at once with the mega menu loaded.
