I have some custom pages which load from a separate directory under WordPress, but with any version of the NewsMag theme beyond 5.4.1 I get error messages on those pages, caused by the TagDiv Composer plugin.
wp_booster error:
td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with the ID: td_res_context is not set.

I am happy to adjust my code in those directories to avoid the error, if you could please suggest what might be causing it or how to avoid it.

Do you use the social counter? I see that the message is related to a code that should be used on social counter – https://i.imgur.com/ZVNHlEu.png what you can try is to comment the code inside the function and see if the problem persist.

No, I can say that I’m sure, but most likely the problem you’re facing appeared after the javascript was shared in the theme and made to load in the footer.
Do you have the possibility to create a staging where you can give me access (wp-admin and FTP) and a link to the pages with problems to do an investigation and see if I can change something so that the problem is solved.

The javascript is enqued via a custom widget.
I’m almost complete on a workaround which essentially duplicates the footer and sidebar without calling the WordPress functions, but obviously that is less than ideal as I’ll also have to manually replicate any updates. Also, I seem to be losing the admin bar on all the pages sitting in those directories too.
Anyway, thanks for your help so far and I’ll be in touch regarding the staging site and access.
If I disable the custom plugin, and therefore the widget, and call get_footer() I get these php errors, not sure if this helps you?

Normally if you are at the last theme version and the code is clean you should not receive that error.
So do I need to pass a value with the get_footer() function call? I am using the latest version, at least on my localhost testing platform, and the code is not producing any other errors. I see the code you’re pointing to, but that doesn’t help me know how to fix it.
If you comment that code from td_js_generator.php does it work? or you still get the errors?
That appears to completely fix all of the issues! Still not quite sure I believe my eyes, but yes, the footer and sidebar are both loading as expected, and the admin bar is back too. No errors.

I’ve updated on the live site now, and commenting out that function also removes the first error, the wp_booster error:
td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with the ID: td_res_context is not set.

without me having to comment out the first line you suggested.
