Is it possible to create mega menus for CPT? It will be great to be able to showcase custom post types with the same mega menu as the one we have for post categories.
Can this be achieved and if not – is it planned for future?

Great. And how can this be achieved? When I go to the menu section in WordPress, I don’t see the CPT on the left side to choose from, how can I add it?
Should I make my CPT use normal post categories or what?

Go to the Appearance -> Menus -> Screen Options and make sure you have checked all the checkboxes you need to display. Refresh the page, and you should see them listed in the “Add menu items” section.
