I am doing a website for a client, and he wanted to use the Newspaper template. It is my first time using it, so it will be a little learning experience, but so far, it is looking good 🙂
One thing though – I am quite allergic to the Gutenberg editor, especially as an editor for customers that mainly writes articles. The interface is a horrendous case of misunderstood UI building. Normal users are used to Word, LibreOffice Writer, Notepad etc. And Gutenberg is as far from it as you can get.
So I usually use a couple of plugins to enable and customize the classic editor at least for Posts.
I just wondered if there are any serious drawbacks to do this with this template?

No, you can use classic editor. The only disadvantage is that if you want to use a locker on posts, then they are only available on the Gutenberg editor
Also, I recommend using only cloud templates, so please deactivate the tagdiv Standard pack plugin.
