I have requested this a couple of months ago but the current solution is through frontend only:

Now that other social media platforms, like Bluesky, Threads and Mastodon, have gained some momentum in the past couple of weeks, which is why I would like to request again that the said social networks be added to the backend function (Theme Panel) on future updates of Newspaper theme.
