Sticky Column

I mistakenly clicked to turn sticky off on the right hand column/sidebar on my site. It was working fine before doing so but when I turn it back on it won’t remain in frame on scroll.

Website address : http://www.businesseye.co.uk

I do have a backup I can revert to if necessary but would like to know how to fix this in case it happens again. I tried the same on my staging site, when you turn sticky off it won’t work when turned back on.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Anamaria

No the issue is still there. It’s on the homepage & the most read panel on the right should stick until the ad comes into frame.

Can you check again please

Thanks

Hello,

Please use this code in the theme panel -> custom code – custom js https://pastebin.com/81iQqr30 and check if the issue persists.

Thank you!

I have added the code as you suggested but it has had no effect.

Can you advise further?

Thanks

Hi,

Have you checked for a plugin conflict? Please deactivate ALL plugins, including wp bakery, except tagDiv ones; also, if you use a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache, and try again.

Thank you!

I have tried everything you have suggested but the problem still persists. I have noticed on other pages where sticky is working this class is present before the other elements:

<div class=”clearfix”></div>

When I make the column sticky on the homepage this is not there. Not sure if this is related?

How can I add this if it’s required?

Hi,

I would like to take a look. Can you please email us at contact@tagdiv.com with the wp-admin and cPanel access and include the link to the topic in the email?

Thank you!

Anamaria

I rebuilt the homepage from the default template and it seems to have fixed the issue.

Thanks for you help.
