1) what is the best featured image size for this post
2) in the homepage,no featured image corner( top, bottom, right, left) it should crop down. Homepage layout thumbnail also should show the same image as shown in the featured image.

1. General Image Size Recommendations for Desktop:
For desktop displays, larger image resolutions are typically used:
Featured Image: 1200 x 800 pixels.
Thumbnail: 300 x 300 pixels.
Post Images: 1200 – 1600 pixels wide (depending on the layout and design).
