24 hours post sorting

Hey guys, I know there is a 7 days post sorting but I was wondering if there was anyway to alter this to 24hours?

I have a Now Trending section in the sidebar on every page for this, but given it doesnt update that often because of the 7-day sort I was wondering if there was a way to change this to be 24hours, so that it would actually act more as a trend section.

We did not tested this, but you can try to remove this from the code – http://screencast.com/t/9M3BUpgJU and see if it works.

didn’t seem to work

Cleared cache aswell just to make sure but the same posts were still there even though there would have been minimal traffic on those pages within the last 24hrs

Hi,

This feature doesn’t work well with caching plugins, so you should test this without a cache plugin. I guess that this caused also issues with your block (“it doesn’t update that often”).
Also you have to wait 24-48 hours to be sure that the above solution works as this sort option is applying from the moment that it is activated on a block.
