Blurry Category Images in Theme Panel – Newspaper The Critic

Hi, I’m using the Newspaper theme with the The Critic template and I’ve encountered an issue with the category images set via Theme Panel → Categories.

Issue:
When I assign an image to a category, it appears blurry and low quality, even though the original file has a high resolution.

Question:
Is there a specific setting to prevent the theme from excessively resizing the category image? Or do I need to modify a PHP filter to improve the quality?

Hello!

Using a cloud category template, you can edit it with the tagdiv composer, check the image settings from the Category Background Image shortcode. If you upload an image smaller than your size from settings, then this could appear blurry and not of high quality. I suggest you upload the images in your Media Library in full size (1920 px): https://prnt.sc/YzxtrT24bGKM
