the Facebook “Create post” box doesn’t load completely. I guess this is not a Newspaper but a Facebook problem?

Tried in Firefox instead of Safari – same thing. I’ll try Chrome. Or maybe my computer is just too old. Thanks for testing.
We are having this issue on our sites with FB using latest Chrome the past week or two. I think it might be related to a common WP plugin many use, but have not debugged that yet. Will update if I figure it out.

Calin, Bettina – are you sharing to a personal Facebook page? I can do that, but not to my Facebook business page. I used to be able to share to https://www.facebook.com/JazzJournal. Now it just hangs – the post share box never loads completely.
It previously shared with same length titles, and will still do so to personal FB page. It seems something has changed with FB business pages.
Yes. Having same issues here. FB pop up just “spins” and never fully instantiates.
Lots of weirdness; just tried sharing a story on AI to one of my FB business pages, using the FB button on USATODAY, and got this:
User opted out of platform
The action attempted is disallowed, because the user has opted out of Facebook platform.
Return home
Then went to CNN, and tried to share story about Disneyland 70th, and also got the blinking share box not loading.
So, not unique to the Tagdiv themes, but hella annoying.

Yes, we did some testing using our personal Facebook accounts. I also did a quick Google search, and it looks like this issue is affecting WordPress users in general, not just those using the Newspaper theme. One possible reason might be some recent changes in Facebook’s rules, which has happened before.
I have been going to our page and manually posting the headline then pasting in the story link. Annoying, but that still works. 🙂
