There are articles from different authors on my site. In the “Single Post Author” shows author info correctly in every article, but in the “Author box”, shows information of the administrator of the site in all articles, how I can fix it?

Hi,
It appear that there is a redirect when you click on author to the contact me form, this is usually a redirect that is set by an extra plugin and is not related to the theme.
For example using Yoast SEO plugin if author archives is disabled – https://i.imgur.com/IfajE5R.pngthe when you click on author you’ll be redirected to homepage. Check if you have any redirect plugin or you can even make a test using only tagDiv plugins to see if the situation persist.
Thank you!
Hi
Thank you for the reply. To clarify what I mean, I have made some changes. In this post, the author is Farid Mobin, as you can see in ” Single Post Author” at the top of the post, and that’s correct, but at the end of the post in the “Author Box” you see the name Babak Siminzar, who isn’t the author. He’s the administrator. How can I fix it?

I had this happen once because the ‘author’ was not actually given contributor or editor rights in the user settings, so could not actually be a real author although that author name selected on the post edit page. Probably not the same issue, but check the user setting for that author to make sure higher than subscriber. 🙂
Hi Babak, is this situation happen for all articles, or only on some of them? Also, when you are logged in the problem appears? Do you use any extra plugin for authors/co-authors or something like this? Checking your link it is like you are using a plugin for co-authors and the author box is displaying the author that created and publish the article, not the one selected using the plugin options.
Thank you!
Hi, thank you for the help. 1. The author role in WordPress settings is ‘Author’, not ‘Scribber’ or any other option. 2. In all the articles, this problem exists potentially, but exists in 2 articles for now:

Actually, I created all the posts myself, but I have now decided to change the author of the articles to an account that belongs to me, using an Author role instead of an Administrator role. I used Farid Mobin’s name to prevent confusing you in the two articles above. ( If you saw that both author accounts had the same name, Babak Siminzar, it would be more difficult for you to diagnose the problem.) 3. I don’t use any extra plugins for authors/co-authors. I use just Yoast. 4. In two conditions, either I logged in or logged out, the problem exists.

Hi Babak,
Can you please make a full backup for your website and contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a temporary wp-admin access to investigate this problem?
Thank you!
