Bookmarked posts are different on PC and Mobile.

For example, if you have 5 bookmarks on your PC and check them on your mobile, none of the bookmarked posts will be visible.
PC and mobile operate separately.

Please. help me…

Hi,
Yes, this is right the bookmarks system operate separately because you are using a different device and a different session on your browser. The option is set per browser session.
Thank you!

Is there any way to set it the same?

Unfortunately this is the only way that can be uses currently. But I will add it on our list as improvement and our developers will check it out.

Hello,
I’m having the same issue, and I don’t understand the point of configuring it this way if users can’t access their favorite articles from their mobile device or from another computer — for example, when logging in from a friend’s computer.
In this state, I don’t see any reason to enable this option, as it seems obsolete to me.

Hi jackpapy, this is how this option was thought up by our developers. If you enter the site and see an article that you want to read, you can add it to your favorites list, and whenever you enter that site using the same device, you will have those articles in your favorites.

Hello,
I have the same problem with/opinion on this feature. It’s normal that one user enters the website with use of mobile, computer, different browsers. It’s typical behaviour to bookmark someting on one device in order to read it later on a different device. I would appreciate very much if that feature will allow users to save bookmarks independently from device or browser.
Kind regards,
Kaz

Hi Kaz,

I understand your point. We’ve discussed this with our developers, and this feature is only possible if the user bookmarking an article is logged in.

When a logged-in user accesses their account from another device, their bookmarks will be displayed there as well. However, without an account connection, it’s not possible to bookmark an article on one device and see it on another, since there’s no link/connection between them.

Thank you!

Yes, that is exactly what I would like to offer users of my website (so this feature would also encourage users to register).

Kind regards,
Kaz

Hi Kaz,

This is on our list as a suggested improvement to the current bookmarks system. However, from what I can see, the developers and management haven’t responded to this task yet perhaps they haven’t had a chance to review it.

Thank you!
