The newsmag theme is a boxed theme, not a full width theme. You should consider the newspaper theme if you need ‘full width’ layout.

Unfortunately this is not possible, the Newsmag has only boxed version with fixed content and sidebar width. You can see on this page https://preview.themeforest.net/item/newsmag-news-magazine-newspaper/full_screen_preview/9512331 most of the theme layout possibilities using Newsmag theme.
