Hi. My Facebook “like” button stopped working this week and tech support from my host tells me this is due to an outdated link in the theme. Currently, the posts are not showing new likes and you get a sad face when you hit the button. According to Dreamhost “none of the (theme) files contains the https://www.facebook.com/plugins/like/connect link, which means that it is most likely using an old Facebook API or code that needs to be manually updated by the theme developer.”

Hi Calin. I’m familiar with basic WordPress, but the plugins that add the button are clunky-looking and appear in an awkward place. Also, right now anyone using the Newspaper theme that has the Facebook likes feature toggled on is likely getting an error. Hopefully this can be resolved soon.
