there were icons could be used instead of text in a menu. after 6.0 theme I can’t find
Yeah, I am looking for this as well. Now I am just getting [MENU_HOME] and [MENU_CATEGORY]
I didn’t see it in any of the Menu settings.
You need to download the “Font Awesome 4 Menus” plugin. Then replace the [MENU_HOME] text with the icon code from this list…
Click on the icon to get the code.

Thanks for letting me know. It seems though that I cannot have JUST the icon like on v4. Now I have to have the icon and text. Am I doing something wrong?

I have same question now. Within 4.x version it was good to use icon only. As it minimise the menu width. No it is impossible, as I see :((
Maybe the authors have some solutions.
To fix this go to Appearance > header menu > then click the down arrow next to the home link. Before I had ‘Home” written, I replace it with just this – <i class=”fa fa-home”></i>
Now have home logo icon without text

Not working. I followed every step. Plugin is active.
When I put <i class=”fa fa-camera-retro”></i>News in the required field
…I only see the “NEWS” text in the menu but not the icon. Tested in every browser. Please help!
