Hi, I’m hours deep into searching for the Composer setting that turns on “Edit with Tagdiv Composer” on posts and custom post type–not just on pages which seems to the the default. Send Help pls!

Thanks!

Hi,
TagDiv Composer is a page builder and it can be used on pages and cloud templates to create templates for your website, but not to create posts; those will be created normally using the WordPress editor.
Thank you!

Thank you for clarifying @Calin. I’m coming from Divi where posts and CPTs were exposed to the builder.

My use case is this: I have a CPT to share singles and archives of posts that have a different tagDiv playlist as the only content. So showing post content and meta is not very useful at all. Do you have any ideas on how to implement if I cant add tagDiv playlists in the post content and there isn’t any access to Composer on the single posts?

Thanks so much!

Hi,

If you need to add playlists to your content, it can be done using the embed link or embed code https://www.boldgrid.com/support/wordpress-tutorials/how-to-embed-content-in-the-gutenberg-editor/

Thank you!

Ok, so effectively no support for tagDiv’s own playlist element on CPTs or posts. Only for generic playlists that are predefined in YouTube. This is less than ideal but thanks. I have an idea for a workaround but I’ll see how it goes.

It’s bunkers that there is no setting to expose the Composer to users’ choice of posttypes. Such an unnecessary limitation.

Thanks @Calin

Hi,
I totally get where you’re coming from if you’re used to builders like Divi, it can feel a bit limiting at first. Our tagDiv Composer is super powerful, but it was designed from the ground up specifically for pages and templates. This includes templates for posts, categories, tags, shops, and custom post types, and it even lets you create your own modules.

So while it doesn’t directly edit single posts or CPTs the way some other builders do, it still gives a lot of flexibility through templates and custom modules.
Thank you!
