I have a site: ainews.cafe . I want to disable search.
I commented out all the code that seemed to be rendering the search icon and search input box, but it’s still appearing.
What’s the best way to disable the search icon and link in the header ?

Thanks! I appreciate the quick response. It looks like some of the desktop browsers I was testing with weren’t properly clearing their caches.
All good now.
