V6 has new footer styles, in Style 1, it has pre-defined widgets – “editor’s pick” – “popular posts” – “popular categories”. Do we have any control over these? I can’t figure out where we control them, and how to set “editor’s picks” it has no posts right now. Thanks.

in addition to this it seems that the Popular Categories text is not translated in Dutch but also not available in the translation list in Theme panel (only the singular version: POPULAR CATEGORY)
Is this a bug? How to solve this without coding?

I’ve tested on my side and the translation works fine for the default content that is built in footer.
If you use the Popular categories widget, just go to Widgets and edit the title of it: http://screencast.com/t/w6PMZMLS9xQM
