Due to a bug in the TagDiv paywall component, which I never intended to use, i have thousands of Broken Links shown in google search console. I’ve removed the function and the element from my theme. However, how do I get rid of the incorrect links in the database?

That is because you have a Switching Plans page – https://presse-augsburg.de/tds-switching-plans-wizard/. Please check if the tagDiv plugin is being used. If it is, go to Subscriptions > Pages and see if there are any pages listed.
If you do not need the theme, remove it from the field and save the changes. After that, go to Pages and remove the page itself.
Finally, make sure to update Google Search Console (GSC) to indicate that the respective link no longer exists and has been removed.
