Hello, would it be possible to use the native WordPress/Jetpack newsletter?
I can insert the subscription form at the bottom of the posts, but I can’t put it on the home page.

Hi,
Yes, the Newsletter Jetpack can be used. To set it on pages, you need to use the shortcode from Jetpack. This can be set using tagDiv Composer in the element External Shortcode https://jetpack.com/support/shortcode-embeds/

Another one, which I don’t know whether is TagDiv or WordPress.

Can I choose wheter to send a newsletter or not when I publish an article? à la Ghost?

Wordpress.com allows this.

Hi,
I believe you need some system to send a newsletter to the website subscribers with the new published article, right? If is so you’ll need to use a dedicated plugin or Jetpack
https://wordpress.com/support/newsletter/send-newsletter-emails/ (Newspaper theme do not have this option).
